Adobe Sign android app crashes when attempting "in-person signature" process

Hi all,

 

This problem has been replicated on three different devices. The one I have information for is a Google Pixel 10 Pro, Android version 16 and I'm using Adobe Acrobat Sign version 5.0.7. 

 

The error occurs as soon as the "signer" taps "Proceed" after confirming their email address. One of two things will happen:

1) The app crashes (quits and goes to the Pixel home screen)

2) The app goes back to the "waiting for others" section which is blank and should have the pending document in there.

 

I'm not sure about the other 2 devices because I wasn't running them, but the app was just downloaded on both so I'm sure it's the newest app verison. We've tried restarting devices and deleting/redownloading the app and nothing works.

 

I'd appreciate any help on this, but I'm pretty sure it's just a bug in the app and requires a fix. Thanks!

Since you have shared most of the details, would you mind sharing a screen recording of the entire event for a better understanding and further investigation?

 

This will enable us to share the complete set of information with the development team, allowing them to reproduce the issue in-house and reach a resolution quickly.

Thanks for the response. I've attached a screen recording of the issue. As you can see, when it instructs me to pass the device over to the signer (PII removed by moderator), and I tap "OK" and "Proceed", it goes back to the "waiting for others" screen, which is blank. This happens three times in the video and appears to be an endless loop.

This was recorded on a Google Pixel 10 Pro running Android 16 and Adobe Acrobat Sign version 5.0.7.
