Question

Android does not recognize long .pdf file names

Files that have been created on my workstation with Adobe Acrobat 2020 using long names are not recognized on the Android Samsung SM-X818 tablet. The tablet does have Adobe Acrobat reader installed but will not open the .pdf that I created on my workstation. The Android cuts off the names of the files including the type of file. As a result it doesn't know what application to use.
Notice that the file thumbnail place holders in the included photo are all gray with a blank page.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

It would help to get a reply related to the issue and not one that states my issue has been moved to a different location.

i'm sorry.  you posted in a forum for questions about how to use adobe's forums and while i have expertise in serveral adobe areas, i do not have expertise in adobe's mobile reader so i do not know the answer to your question.

your post was moved to the adobe mobile reader forum (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-mobile-discussions/android-does-not-recognize-long-pdf-file-names/m-p/14891374#M28865)  where experts there can help you, if they choose.
