Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience!

From the screenshots, Acrobat Reader Mobile is not set as the default application for reading PDFs on your device, which causes the error. 

You can learn more here: Set or clear default apps - Pixel Phone Help.

Once set up, you can view PDFs without any further error messages.
