Would you mind sharing the steps/workflow you are doing to edit the document. A small video recording of the steps and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful.

It sounds like the AI function may have altered the file display or saved changes in a way that’s affecting visibility. If you still have the original, try opening it again to see if the content is intact. Also, If your file was saved in cloud storage (like Adobe Document Cloud or OneDrive), check for previous versions that might still contain the content.
