Auto saving on iOS app

I just spent 2 hours commenting on a pdf in the acrobat app on my iPhone 13. Pressed the 'back' button in the app expecting it to save during that process and I can't find any trace of the edited file. Is all my work lost??

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

 

I tried reproducing the issue on my end, and it worked fine. Are you clicking on done after completing with your comment or pressing the send icon on the right hand side of where you are typing the comment? 

 

If the comments are saved, you will be able to retrieve them by going to the comments option from the menu on the top right. If not, you will have to retype the comment to post it.

 

You may take reference of the button used to send the comment from below:
