Bookmarks for Acrobat for Samsung v.23.12...

Hi!

I have a Sassung Galaxy Tablet and Acrobat for Samsung v.23.12... on it. When I open a pdf-document I created with Acrobat on my PC I can't se the bookmarks I created for that document. Thumbnails, yes but not bookmarks that were in the document on pc. First when I create a bookmark on the tablet in Acrobat for Samsung I can see the bookmark tab besides the thumbnail tab but my original bookmarks are not showing up at all.

Have I missed something or is Acrobat for Samsung so a stupid thing that it shows bookmarks that can't be saved to the document and ignores them that in fact are there?

What on earth do you mean by that issues with the Adobe server could lead to the problems I'm reporting? Did you read my post at all?

First, the regrettable experience that bookmarks created in Acrobat on a PC disappears in Acrobat for Samsung on a mobile device does not relate to a particular occasion but has been like this all the time since there has been Acrobat. Do you mean that there has been a problem with the Acrobat server all along? In that case, I must congratulate your server. And what do bookmarks in a pdf document have to do with your miserable server? Let me help you with the answer: nothing. Tell this story to someone else.

Then you claim that "creating bookmarks on Acrobat Pro should reflect in the mobile version of the application if the file is saved on a cloud drive." I don't know what you mean by "reflect" but the bookmarks are not showing up in Acrobat for Samsung although I have done exactly as you write; created them in Acrobat Pro on my PC, uploaded the document to the cloud and downloaded it from there to my mobile device. No bookmarks. They have never appeared in Acrobat for Samsung but when I download the same document again to my PC, they are there both in Acrobat Reader or in Acrobat Pro. Don't claim otherwise because then you are lying. And it's so sad. Rather write that Acrobat for Samsung does not support bookmarks.

Hi @Janos34715649slcs,

I tried reproducing the issue on my end, and it worked.

I created some bookmarks on the desktop, saved the file, and opened it back in Acrobat for Samsung. The bookmarks did appear.

Would you mind sharing a few more pieces of information for further investigation:

1. A screen recording of the issue;

2. A sample file where you experience the issue.

Hi @Janos34715649slcs,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

When you created your post, there were some issues with the Adobe server, which could lead to the problems you are referring to.

Creating bookmarks on Acrobat Pro should reflect in the mobile version of the application if the file is saved on a cloud drive.

However, bookmarks created on the mobile version are on an app level and not device-independent (mobile device limitations), so they are not carried over to other platforms.

Hope this clarifies your question.
