"Buttons" not working on Ipad

I've created a 'reset form' and 'submit' button on my PDF. Both function perfectly on the computer (using Foxit), but are consistently temperamental when being used on an iPad (using Adobe Reader). I've tried siwtching both buttons to "mouse down", however when I do this, the SUBMIT button works, while the CLEAR button only clears one random field within the whole document (when using the iPad). I've checked to make sure both buttons are mouse down and that all the fillable fields are selected for deletion with the CLEAR button. 

I've saved several new versions while tweaking these parameters, and each time the result is the same. Can't figure out why the clear button is behaving the way it is.

Any suggestions?
