Just subscribed to Adobe Reader Edit pdf Pro for my Android phone thinking I would have access to the redacting tool but I can't see it. My laptop has broken tonight so I was hoping to work on my phone but need this tool. Help appreciated. Thanks

Hi @debbiegyuraki@gmail.com

You told us that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader with premium and have a report with exhibits, but did not say what your question is.

If you are trying to Redact (the thread you responded to), you can't do that in Reader — you need Acrobat Pro for desktop. If you are trying to do something else, please tell us what.

Thank you,

Jane

No, Acrobat Reader (which is not Pro) does not have Redaction.

A question though: do you have a subscription to Adobe Acrobat DC? If so, it includes extended features of the free Reader for Mobile, so you don't need to buy anything. Just sign in with your Adobe ID.

Thank you Jane, I will retract my subscription to the mobile Adobe Reader and get Adobe DC. You've solved my query, much appreciated.

Best wishes

You're welcome, @Mags24211058zdw3 .

I found the page with information. As I said, Reader for Mobile is free, but you can subscribe to add-ons (PDF Pack and Export PDF). If you have a full subscription to Adobe Acrobat DC for desktop, those premium features are included.

I did check on my iPad, and Redaction was not there.

One other thing: if you subscribe through Android, you need to cancel through Android (not through Adobe).
