can not add note to underline

I can't add an note other than English to the underlined text.(I want to add Chinese note).

This problem persists for a long time.

Android version:8.1

keyboard:Gboard ver7.4.19.206

Adobe acrobat:17.5.1800

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you have mentioned above, you are not able to add Chinese note to the underlined text in PDF.

Could you please confirm the default language selected on your device?

Did you try to add the Chinese notes before? If yes, did it work?

If yes, then did you made any changes after which you have started to experience this issue.

①the default language selected on my device is English.

②Did you try to add the Chinese notes before? No.but I can add Chinese comments in the blank space.

③After my test,“xodo docs” and “Foxit PDF Reader"  do not have this problem.

④when I try to add a Chinese note to the underline,the default languag of my inpute

is my system language(English). then…I can't switch the language to Chinese or cannot   type if i switch input to Chinese.

(I tested 2 inpute：Google pinyin input and Gboard)

If I use a Chinese local inpute：“sougou inpute”.There is no such problem.

Do you have any Chinese customer service?I can provide a recurrence step for this problem.

You have mentioned in the second statement above, that you can add the comments in the blank space.

Are you referring to the sticky notes or text you add in the blank space?

Please share the screenshot of the page where you add comments in the PDF.

To share the screenshot, use the steps provided below:

- Click on the insert icon provided in the reply window as shown below:

- An Insert Image window will appear.

- Then click on Insert Image and browse the location where you have saved the screenshot file.

- Select the file and click on Open > Insert Image.

If you can share the recurring steps, that would be helpful.

We will try to replicate the issue at our end.
