Can Not Fill Comb Field in Acrobat Reader (Android)

I have a form which employs use of comb field for some of the input required. The form filling works flawlessly on a PC, but when I try to fill the form in Acrobat Reader on my Android the Comb field does not behave as expected:

  1. If the input is any alphabet, the next character (whatever it is that has been typed) will not show. Upon pressing backspace the program behaves as if the characters I have types has been registered and I will need to press backspace as many times as the characters I have typed. For Example, if I type in "APR1990", only "A" will be shown and I'll have to press backspace 7 times to erase the entry "A".
  2. If the input is a number, the next character (whatever it is that has been typed) will show up. If the next character is an alphabet then the third character won't show up.

I have created a simple file with a single comb field for testing (attached). Any guidance in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Uzair

Hi @Uzair Aziz Suria

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue description that when you tried to fill the form in Acrobat Reader on my Android the Comb field did not behave as expected. We have tried to reproduce the issue but it was working fine. Would you mind sharing some more details to understand the issue better?

1. Make and Model your device?

2. OS version?

3. Acrobat reader mobile app version?

Also, please check if Acrobat is updated to the latest version. If not kindly update the application.

Let us know if it helps.

Thanks,

Harsh

Hi Uzair,

We have tried to reproduce the issue and we can type in both alphabets, numbers, and mixed. It looks like there is some plugin or some app like Bitwarden is interfering. Try to look in the keyboard settings and set it to default or disable the Bitwarden restart the device and then check again.

Let us know if that works.

Thanks,

Harsh
