Can you write comments in Adobe reader for iPad?

I am unable to find a way to add comments to any pdf. There is no file window. Nothing opens if I “click anywhere” in the document. I can read comments others have written, but can’t add my own. I think I need to upgrade the version I am using, but don’t see another one to download from the App Store.

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are unable to add comments on pdf, is that correct?

Hi, there isnt the blue pencil icon on my PDF file. I can see it on the welcome file. But not my file.
