Cannot open new files due to free trial notification

When I try to open a new pdf, I am unable because the free trial notification pops up. When I click on the close icon, my file is not there.

    Hi @Nicole36713268wb6r,

     

    Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

     

    From the description, it looks like you are trying to open a non-PDF file which triggers the Create PDF function in Acrobat, which is a premium feature, and thus the pop-up.

     

    Would you mind checking if the file you are trying to open is a PDF file and then see if you still experience the error? 

    Also, opening the default Welcome.pdf file should work too.

     

    If this is not the case, please share a screen recording video of the workflow for a better understanding.
