Cannot open WeTransfer files sent to me! Help

Question

I can see file- it downloaded in background with and Adobe icon over it. I installed Adobe (basic) to open it and it will not saying it doesn't recognize me in this device my IPhone 10xr. It brings up Office and I fill out one of my 3 emails and says it doesn't know me.
Help!

Please explain what do you mean by " I installed Adobe (basic)".

If you're referring to the Acrobat Reader mobile app for iOS, that you've downloaded and installed from the Apple store, can you confirm if you're able to sign in with your AdobeID from the app? Make sure that you AdobeID is the same email address that you registered your subscription with.
