I was offered a free trial for one week at ZAR74.99 to be debited after 7 days. I accepted and was charged within a few hours. I contacted the developer and chatted with them online. They informed me that Google debited me (on their behalf) and that I should contact Google. I contacted Google who informed me me that they cannot refund me because of their policy. This is daylight robbery and is dishonest, unprofessional and unacceptable.

I do understand that you are upset with the amount being debited from you immediately after the subscription start. However, the 7 day trial that you are referring to is for the complete subscription of either Acrobat Pro DC / Standard DC / or any plans from Creative Cloud. The mobile subscription is something that is managed by the store operator through which you use the application store.
