Charged for free trial

I opted for the 7 day free trial and also ended the subscription the same day a few hours later and was still charged. I'm not sure if this is correct as it was advertised as a free trial and I would like to be refunded if possible. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

Since you have a mobile-based subscription, it will be handled by the store through which you have purchased.

I suggest you contact Google Play Store regarding your subscription, which will help you further with the refund.

You may refer to the link for more information: Subscription Services — Acrobat for Android Help (adobe.com)

You can also visit this link to start a refund for Google Play Store: Request a refund on Google Play - Google Play Help.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

Souvik.

I was charged around $13 on the same day I signed up for a free trial so I could just edit an important document. Why advertise for a free trial when you will eventually get charged anyways. I would love a refund too!

Hi Souvik,

Thanks for the reply. I have already reached out to Google Play and requested a refund but it was declined. This is a problem I've only ever seen using this app and there have a multitude of people experiencing the same thing. I am honestly shocked that it appears that nothing has been done to fix this issue, That I will reiterate has a lot of people have been plagued by.  $15 dollars isn't really a big deal but having any amount of money taken from you without your consent is wrong. The only help I have seen anyone given is to contact Google Play who decline everyone as far as I am aware. Who knows how much money Google has scammed out of people without them noticing.
