Comments not showing up after PDF is shared? Really confused as to how this works.

I've marked up a PDF file with comments on my Android tablet running Adobe Acrobat. The comments are viewable in the PDF file when I open it up on my tablet or my PC.

But this is what I don't get. When I share the document via the document cloud, whoever opens the PDF cannot see any of my comments that I had previously created. New comments can be created, yes. But how in the world do people see the comments and annotations that should already be there?
