Pretty much since I started to use Adobe software again straightaway I noticed that within hours of completing project work was disappearing punishing and you know it’s now a bust chunks of data that is disappearing from my device. It’s clear it is more of a system issue than a hacker issue but I wondered if anybody else had encountered this and what can be done about it because it’s insane really insane .

    @Ainhen

    Have you checked your system for Malware? I think Malwarebytes has a free trial or do a web search for others.

    Also, do a check of your hard drive to see if you have bad sectors that need to be repaired.

    Hi there,

    Hope you are doing well and thank you for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble you are experiencing.

    Adobe apps do not delete or remove content intentionally, so when this happens, it’s usually due to syncing, saving, or device-related issues.

    For a better understanding, could you please share more details as listed below:

    • Are you using Adobe Reader mobile app or desktop application?
    • What is the version of the Acrobat application and the OS you are using?
    • Are your files saved locally or in Adobe Cloud?
    • Do you notice this after closing the app or randomly while working? A small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful.

    We are here for help, just need more information.
