When I delete files from the "Recent" list, using the app on my Android phone, the file also disappears from my "Starred" list. Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

I have tried to reproduce the issue at my end and its retains the starred file even after removing it from the recent list.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing to remove the file from the recent list? A small video recording of the steps you are taking would be very helpful.

If you are deleting the file, please use the option 'remove from recent' and see if that works.
- Tap on three dots next to the file name in the recent list

- Scroll to the bottom and select second last option 'Remove from recent'
