I did an update on my phone yesterday and now when sending an attachment they are no longer in my downloads but in my file manager and the person on the receiving end cannot open them. What can I do

I have an Android go edition, a government phone. However, I have had Adobe
on my phone for over 8 months and have done other updates with no problems.
