Question

Disappearing text after opening document in Adobe Acrobat on mobile

Whenever I use Adobe Acrobat to open and view a datasheet (PDF document) from the microchip website (weblink removed), the text will initial be displayed in the document.

However, as soon as I pan, zoom, or scroll, all of the text disappears and only the footers are left.

Attached are screenshots and the original file below (though just about any datasheet from (weblink removed) works.)

I am viewing this document on a Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the screen exfended.

Mahalo in advance for your help,

Jam

I've moved your post from Using the Community to the Acrobat Reader for Mobile forum.

Hi there

Hope you're doing well, and thank you for reaching out.

I tried to reproduce the issue on my end, but the application seems to be working fine and displays the file without any problems.

Could you please confirm if this issue is happening with a specific PDF file or with all PDFs? If possible, try opening a different PDF to check if the problem persists.

If you're viewing the PDF on the web, try downloading it to your device’s local storage and then opening it using the Acrobat Mobile app. Additionally, please ensure the app is updated to the latest version (25.03.0). You can update it via the Play Store or Samsung Store, and we also recommend rebooting your device after updating.

You also mentioned viewing the file on an extended screen, does the same issue occur when using the device without an extended screen? Please try that and let us know the results.
