Does anyone know how to encrypt a PDF document on your telephone?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're using the Acrobat Reader mobile app you'll need a paid subscription of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to unlock premium editing features.

 

When you open the app you need to be signed in with your Adobe ID associated with that subscription. You will notice that there's a new feature (at least in Adroid OS devices) that allows to protect a document with password.

 

This feature is fairly new about two recent updates ago; a lot of users seem not to have it discovered yet.
