I'm having problems I'm trying to open a government document but it won't let me even after buying Acrobat reader why

Sorry to learn you are having problems in opening a document with Acrobat Reader subscription. Could you please share the exact details of what happens when you try to open the document? Are you able to open other documents? It could be a possibility that the document you are trying to open is password-protected and you may be required to enter a password to open it.
