Documents disappear from Acrobat

I have had all of my PDF files within my Acrobat app on my iPad disappear twice this week.  I download files from another application, save to the "On this iPad" part of the acrobat app and organize in folders.  I utilize them for a couple of days and then they randomly disappear.  It leaves nothing but the Welcome folder and some of them are under recent items.

 

This issue is costing me two hours each time it happens. Not to mention my notes. Any ideas?

We are sorry, you're having difficulties. Please help me with few details to understand your issue better. 

  1.  Make and model of your device? 
  2. Application version? 
       

We did try to replicate the behavior on our end, however, it is working fine. Make sure your application is updated. Do save your work then try to sign out and sign in back. Reboot your device.

How have you created the folders?

While on the files tab on the bottom of the app screen, select the file +
tab on the upper right and then put the files in them…--
