Downloaded new version of Adobe Reader for IPhone 5SE now all my PDF’s are gone or missing

I have lost all but a couple of my PDF’s after deleting and reinstalling Adobe reader.

The newer version “locked up” so that is  the reason I deleted and reinstalled. I am on IPhone SE. I have looked in all the locations for the files that have been suggested on this Forum with no help. Can someone help me find these lost PDF’s Thanks

Hi Mikes,

We apologize for the delay in response.

What all files you are referring here, Is it Document Cloud files or Local files?

(a) If you cannot find local files in the new Acrobat UI (Files > Locations > On This iPad/iPhone)

Or

(b) lost local files because you have uninstalled Acrobat?

For situation (b) local files are gone permanently. It may be possible to restore from iCloud or iTunes backup. You may see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184

Also, we just released Acrobat Reader 18.10.02 to the App Store- ‎Adobe Acrobat Reader on the App Store

See if that helps.

*If you have managed to find the solution to this problem, then you may please help us with your findings.

Regards,
