I'm subscribed to acrobat pro dc but unable to find where the drawing tools are when opening file on iPad. I'm a lighting designer and need to mark up floor plans when on-site via iPad and then open same file on desktop when I return to office. Why is this so difficult?? When I select comments the pencil/pen come up but not the shapes option. Any advice?

Hello Shawn,

The shape options are available on the desktop version of the application. I suggest you fill out the feature request form, which goes directly to our product team to review and implement in the upcoming updates.

Hello Shawn,

I hope you are doing well. As per the above description, I understand that you want to be able to edit PDFs on your iPad.

Once you open a PDF,, and if it is editable, you will get all the options on the three dots on the top right of the menu bar.

To know more, click on the link: Work with PDFs — Acrobat for iOS Help (adobe.com)

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Souvik.

Hi
When I click on the 3 dots the options that come up are pen/line/eraser,
but I need the shapes-circle square etc. I know the PDF is editable when I
open it on my laptop and click comments, I can see the shapes option to
select, but it doesn't appear on ipad version:/
