Question

Dropbox sub folders not visible or editable

Hi there

I’ve added a Dropbox account to Locations in the Adobe Acrobat Reader app. Worked fine up to today. Now, when I select it, only one of the sub folders in the Dropbox location is visible, the rest aren’t. All apps are up to date. All accounts are logged into. Internet connectivity stable. Dropbox synced across all platforms and working fine on other platforms.

I’ve tried viewing the document via the Dropbox and then selecting edit with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Also doesn’t work...

Help!

Hi drjsl,

We just released Acrobat Reader 18.12.00 to the App Store.

We believe that this release contains the fix for the Dropbox folder problem that you have reported.

Would you please update to 18.12.00 and let us know if it works for you?

Thank you for your help.

Hi drjsl,

Thank you for reporting the problem.

I used the latest versions

  • iOS 12.1
  • Acrobat Reader 18.10.02
  • Dropbox 120.2

and added a Dropbox account from Files > Locations > Dropbox.  Sub-folders are visible and accessible to me.

Would you please provide the version information for iOS, Acrobat, and Dropbox on your iPad/iPhone?

Can you sign out from Dropbox in Acrobat and sign in again to see if it helps?
