dynamic drop downs in fillable form

we created a pdf fillable form with dynamic drop downs and they work fine when you use the form on a laptop but when you try to use the same form on an ipad the drop downs work but the formula doesn't carry over. So they are just basically drop downs and the dynamic part isn't working. is there anything we can do to fix this?
