Edited PDF Documents Not Rendering Correctly

I just updated my Android phone.  Forms that I have previously edited are no longer rendering correctly.  The filled in data shows correctly in the PDF document but when I open it with Adobe Acrobat, the filled in data are no longer where they should be.  I also updated Adobe Acrobat but that did not correct the issue.

  • The app and my OS are already both up to date.  I have only seen this issue with this one file which has a lot of text additions.  I was able to get around it by opening the file with the old Adobe Fill and Sign app which then redirected me to the Adobe Acrobat app.  The file then rendered correctly and I saved the file and printed also in pdf for good measure.  Thank you for your response.

Could you please confirm whether this issue occurs with a specific PDF file or with all PDFs? If possible, try opening a different PDF to check if the problem persists.

Additionally, may I know the version of the Acrobat app and the operating system (OS) you are using? To check the app version, tap on the Profile icon > About Acrobat. Please also ensure that your app is updated to the latest version by checking for updates in the Play Store/App Store and rebooting your device once.

If the issue still persists, kindly share:

  • A sample PDF file where the issue occurs

  • A short video recording of the steps you are following and the problem as it happens

This will help us investigate further and provide better assistance.
