Editing a form, how to move lines?

I have a form for our department that I am trying to do a simple edit.  I was able to move the label and form field boxes.  But I can't move the line that was put under the form field box to the new place where I put the form field box.  Why is that?  Could all the lines in the form be locked somehow where I can edit the form fields and text boxes but not any of the lines?  I have searched and can't find anything close to answer my question.

I am wondering if my problem above has anything to do with flattening, except wouldn't that mean I couldn't edit the form fields also?  When I found how to create a form from scratch, there wasn't any explanation on creating the lines of the form like double lines, table, thick and thin lines.  Why is that?  If I could find how to put in the lines in a form maybe I could figure out how to edit the lines in a form.  I would think the creating lines would just be using the drawing tools but why can't I edit them?

Hope you are doing well. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with editing on forms.

 

To make basic changes to field properties on forms, you have to use the desktop version of the application to make free form editing to the files or documents that you create / edit.

    Thanks for your reply!  I am using the desktop version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  I read the webpage you sent me on form field basics.  What it ended up being is a pic of all the line structure.  I think the creator of the form must have made the pic using excel and then saved it as a pic and put it on a blank pdf.  Then somehow, I don't know how, they were able to maybe create the form with the form fields and put the pic on top of the form?  All I know is that the line I wanted to move was part of a pic and I had to edit the pic in Microsoft Paint, which came up as the option to use to edit when I right clicked on the line.  I was then able to delete that line.  Then in the form I was able to draw a new line where I wanted it.  So the form is just the way I was asked to make it.  But I would love to know how and why the creator chose this way to make the form.  

     

    Below is the pic of the lined structure in Microsoft Paint.  The line inside the red square is the line I needed to move/delete.
