To further clarify, you can use Acrobat to edit the content within a table. Refer to Edit PDF in Acrobat for iOS Help. Note that ‘Edit PDF’ is a subscription-based service, make sure you have the required permissions to access the Edit feature.

In case you want to format tables or do extensive changes, we suggest that you use Adobe’s authoring tools. Since Acrobat is designed to help you make some last-minute edits or finishing touches to PDFs, which is otherwise meant to be a finalized deliverable format.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you want to edit the table in the PDF using Acrobat.

As PDF is not a word processing file format (see ISO 32000) no "PDF writer" can perform word processor like activities on a PDF. That'd include inserting a table.
