Editing in adobe is the worst

This is absolutely the worst app I’ve ever used. I could’ve filled this report out 25 times in adobe sign and fill for the time it took me to do it in this app. It is absolutely trash and needs a complete revamp. The editing is horrible. There’s specific boxes you can't edit individually. It automatically highlights and entire area and once edited, it changes the whole layout of the app. If you hit the back button it undoes literally everything instead of the last edited thing. Awful awful app. No reason to have changed sign and fill

    I definitely agree. I'm having to edit some older PDF's right now. I would put this experience below using an open source word processor (like LibreOffice). Not good for $20 a month...

    Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with editing PDFs on Acrobat Reader Mobile.

     

    Would you mind sharing more on what went south for a better understanding and further assistance?

    1. Are these PDFs sourced from a specific entity or the experience is same all around;

    2. The app version of Acrobat you are using (go to Home > Profile > About Acrobat);

    3. A screen recording of the issue for us to test in-house.

    I agree.  I have tons of space and speed and everything is super slow. The amount of clicks to do anything has doubled.  The page takes time to convert to editibale every time I scroll with the edit sidebar open.  There is almost nothing I like about this editor.  You can no longer just grab things and move them.  You have to click on text, then the text field to move it.  It automatically combines text fields as one.  Try to move around shapes and lines, you have to edit a square to move a square... so many clicks.  It's terrible!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

      Could you please let us know if this issue happens with just one specific PDF file or with all PDFs? Try opening a different PDF and see if the problem still occurs.

      If possible, please record a short video showing the steps you're following and how the issue appears. This will help us understand the problem better and provide the right solution.

      Also, share the following details:

      • Your device's operating system version
      • The version of the Acrobat app you're using (Go to Profile > About Acrobat to find it)

      Additionally, please try updating the app from the App Store / Play Store, restart your device, and check if the issue is resolved.
