Edits not syncing in document cloud

I have a pdf saved in the 'Adobe Cloud Storage.' It shows up on all three of my devices (iPhone, iPad, and Windows). However any time I make a change to the document it doesn't change on the other devices.

@Red_Wookie are you working on the local copy or the cloud copy? If you're editing a local copy instead of the cloud version then you need to manually upload or sync that. Confirm you're signed in with the same account on all devices. If not, sign out and back in using the correct Adobe ID.. On each device, open Adobe Acrobat Reader. Tap Home → Document Cloud.  Open the file directly from Document Cloud, not from “Recent” or “Local”. After making changes (highlighting, drawing, commenting), tap the checkmark or Done. Then tap the three dots (•••) → choose Save to Document Cloud. On each device, go to Home → pull down to refresh the Document Cloud list or tap Settings → Document Cloud → toggle Sync Now.

I am editing the cloud copy. I am signed into the same account because the document shows up on all devices. I've attached images the show where I'm tapping. When I hit the three dots there is no sync now button. There's also nothing regarding the cloud in the settings.

Hi there

Thanks for sharing the details and the screenshots.

If you are editing the cloud-stored file while signed in with the same Adobe ID, your changes should sync automatically once your device is connected to the internet. There is no manual “Sync Now” button in the latest version of Acrobat Reader mobile, syncing happens in the background.

Please make sure that:

  • You are connected to a stable internet or Wi-Fi network.
  • You’re using the latest version of Acrobat Reader on all devices.
  • The file is saved under Document Cloud (you can confirm by checking the file location listed as Adobe cloud or Document Cloud).
  • If the edits still don’t appear across devices, try signing out and back into your Adobe account, then reopen the file to trigger a fresh sync.
