Error: the document cannot be opened because it is corrupted or damaged

I'm on a pixel 3 and running adobe 20.9.1.15848. All pdf files open with this error on my phone. But are fine using other devices. 

 

Didn't used to have the issue. And one day it just started. Any help is appreciated!

I too have a pixel 3 running the same version of acrobat and have been getting the same error message. As a work around I open the PDF in Google Drive but that just isn't the same.

I also just found that I can open a supposedly corrupted or damaged PDF by choosing the Files tab in Acrobat then selecting Browse More Files I can select the file in question from Recent Files. It then tells me it will create a local copy of the document. I hit Continue and it opens the PDF.

 

Still not as good as it working as it should.
