every month I create a financial document and perform a Generative summary. The summary is not working and I get the error message "something went wrong, Please try again"

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble you are experiencing.

A few questions to help pin this down, since you said this worked fine every other month:

• Have you started experiencing this issue recently after an update?

• Are you using Acrobat on desktop, web, or mobile, and what is the version of the application and the OS you are using?

• Is this financial document password-protected, or does it have any unusual formatting/size compared to previous months (page count, file size)?

• Does the error happen right away, or does it appear after it looks like it's processing for a bit?

Since this normally works for you and just started failing, here's what's most likely and how to check each:

1. Sign out of your Adobe account and sign back in, then try again. This resolves the "something went wrong" error for many people, even when nothing else has changed.

2. Confirm the file still meets the requirements for generative AI summaries (file size and page limits, no restricted permissions), see Prerequisites for using generative AI features. If your financial packet got noticeably bigger or has new restrictions this month, that could be it.
