File size of new PDF of a small range of pages

I have noticed that whenever I select 'Save as PDF' of a range of pages in the Print option of Adobe Reader on Android, the file size of the new PDF is the same as the original file. This happens even if it is or just one page out of many. 

 

The hassle here is that when I want to share a small portion of a large PDF, my recipients would still have to download a lot of data.

 

Is there anything I should change in Settings or is there a workaround to prevent this?

    Hi @RV Adusumilli,

     

    Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!

     

    The Save as PDF feature from the print window is a feature provided by the Android OS and not Acrobat.

    What you can do here is, save the fragments to PDF-> open the file in Acrobat -> Use the compress PDF tool to reduce the file size and then share it with the recipients.
