Just updated my Adobe Reader for my iPhone.

After I open app, I am able to view, edit, send, etc. but when I close the file and attempt to open another file, abobe symbol appears with file name and the words “opening...”

when I close the app and reopen, I am able to view only the first file I open.

This happened to me too, I am using my Ipad.  After I opened a new PDF file into adobe, it wouldn't save my work, then I tried to open an a PDF I had worked on last week and it just froze tring to load.  Then when I closed the app to open it all up again, I LOST ALL OF MY FILES ON ADOBE I HAD SAVED!!!!!!! I had saved local and still nothing.  I am going to cry, I had 2 weeks and over 30 hours worth of work.  I am so upset.  EXport all of your files quick before it happens to you too.

HI myu_fsa,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Would you provide more details about the problem?

  • What is the version of Acrobat Reader?
  • What is the iOS version of your iPhone/iPad?
  • Where are your PDF documents stored?  Do you tap a file shown in the "Local" or "Recent" file browser?
  • What is the file size of the PDF document that exhibits the problem?  Are your PDF documents relatively large in size?

The information would help us resolve the issue sooner.

Thank you for your help!
