Files Not Opening on Acrobat iOS

I am using Acrobat on an iPhone running iOS 26.6.2. After updating Acrobat last week to version 26.08.01, I cannot open any PDF files with the app; when I click a file it just does nothing, no opening animation, no loading icon, nothing. If I go to iPhone Files->Open With->Acrobat, the Opening popup will appear with the loading circle, but it will just spin endlessly and not open the file (I waited for over 10 minutes). I tried restarting the phone and reinstalling the app and neither resolved the issue.

This bug appears to be resolved with app version 26.08.50.

Same issue after the latest update to ios 27 in iphone16promax and in ipad pro with ipad os 26.7, local pdf files are not opening at all. Iphone just heats up. Tried restarting iphone and reinstalling the app, but no change. I think i will be importing all files to apple books app, but i hope adobe solves this soon…

I have got the same symptoms, but it seems to be just on some files, nothing is happening. On some others that I open more frequently, I haven’t got this issue. That does not seem to be linked to the size of the file neither…

the phone’s storage is also really far from being full.

I am currently on an iPhone running iOS 26.6.2.
