Help finding a pdf book I was reading on my iPad

How do I locate a pdf book I was reading on my ipad? I cannot find it Anywhere on my device. I have been opening it from the app. I do not know where it is stored.

Do you know the name of it? Or part of the name?

One way is with nothing open, swipe down with your finger to bring up iPad search. Type in part of the name. Scroll down if necessary. In this search box, you can see I typed "taco bar". In the Adobe Acrobat section, I see my PDF. One tap opens it in the Adobe Acrobat Reader App. Does that work?
