HELP! iPhone Acrobat App - Unknown Error???

I'm baffled. I'm a subscriber to your monthly premium features. But for some reason the app tells me I need to subscribe or restore. 
SO I DO. 
Then a screen pops up that says "unknown error" occurred. 

I have :

uninstalled/reinstalled  the app. three times. 
signed out the app and signed in again 

made sure the app and iOS are up to date. 
powered on and off. 
AND IT STILL TELLS ME an unknown error occurred. This is getting ridiculous. 

What is the problem??????

Sorry for the delayed response. Please help me with few details to understand your issue better.

  1.  What is ios version?
  2. can you share a screenshot of the error message?

Please try to restore your subscription. Do the following to restore your subscription:

  1. Tap settings.
  2. Tap Subscriptions or Manage subscriptions.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases.
