I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

Is the issue of not being able to add text with a specific file or with all the files?

If with a specific file, you might want to check whether the file has editing permissions.

Also, can you share a sample file so that we can check what is the exact scenario happening?

Please check if the application is up to date.
