Highlights not saving

Dear Colleagues, Hi! Thanks for Acrobat for iOS. It is my top productivity app. I am using Version 25.02.00 (20250219.130851) on iOS 18.3.1 (22D8075) with an iPhone 16e. I purchased the phone this week. Last week, when I was using my old iPhone SE, I was happily highlighting a local .pdf file. With the new phone, when I try to comment the same file, the comment does save after I close the file by tapping the home button. Reinstalling the app did not resolve the problem. The problem does not occur with certain .pdf files, such as the Welcome file that is included with the app. Sincerely, Dante Picchioni, Silver Spring, Maryland, United States of America

Correct answer Amal.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

As you have the latest version of the OS and the Acrobat App, please try to logout of the app, reboot the device once and re-login and see if that works.

Let us know how it goes.

I downloaded the new update which worked briefly.  Now if I save the file to my iPad in my one drive, the highlighting and comments do not save if I later try and open the file on my laptop.  It's disappointing the fix was so short term.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well, and sorry to hear that the issue has resurfaced.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Mobile application and the iOS you are using?

Also share a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs, so we can get this reviewed by our development team.

Amal, The problem is with the OneDrive iOS app because I was able to edit .pdf files downloaded via other means. Sincerely, Dante
