How can I insert an e-stamp (a small PNG file) into a PDF on an iPad or iPhone?

Hi all,

I cannot add a small PNG file to a PDF on iPad. Apple Support confirmed that iOS opens PDFs with Preview app by default, and Preview app currently does not support image insertion. I tried Adobe Acrobat Reader and added the e‑stamp via E‑Sign, but the stamp’s background turned black instead of white - likely a transparency/flattening issue.

How can I insert an e-stamp (a small PNG file) into a PDF on an iPad or iPhone?

Best Regards,

Borland

Hi @warm_Dream8714,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

Yes, you are right! The file would need a fully transparent layer for Acrobat Mobile to avoid color scheme flickering.

Have you tried inserting the file as an image instead of a signature? If the end goal is to get the image on the file, why not add it as an image?

It wouldn't alter any color schemes, and you would get the desired result.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Souvik.
