    Hi @EdgarS ,

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

To make sure we point you to the right fix, quickly, are you trying to reset the password for your Adobe ID/account (the login you use for Adobe apps), or are you trying to open a password-protected PDF that someone emailed you?

If it's your Adobe account password, you don't need to remember your old password to reset it. Go to https://adobe.ly/4g9Qyq4, enter your email address, and select "Get help signing in." This starts the reset flow via a code sent to your email (or phone, if you've added one), rather than needing your current password. Full steps here: Reset or change Adobe password.

If you're running into trouble at any step of that process, check this article Resolve Adobe account sign-in issues.

If, instead, this is about a password on a specific PDF file you received by email, there isn’t much that we can do from our end, as Adobe does not keep a record of users' document open passwords. You need to contact the owner of the PDF file and ask for a non-password version of the file.
