Hello @Prec_Essence1193,

To change or set a password for a PDF, follow these steps: my LoneStar

Open the PDF: Make sure you have a software that supports PDF editing, like Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Access Security Settings: Go to the 'Tools' menu and select 'Protect' or 'Encrypt'.

Change/Set Password: Choose the option to set or change the password and enter your desired password.

Save Changes: Save the PDF with the new password settings.

Do you need more detailed guidance, or are you using different software?

Let me know if this helps or if there's anything else you need!

Best regards,
David Scott

Hi there,

I hope this message finds you well!

At Adobe, we prioritize the security and privacy of our users' data. Please note that we do not store or have access to passwords for password-protected PDF files.

If you have forgotten the password to open a PDF file, here are some suggestions to help you regain access:

  1. Recreate the PDF: If you have access to the original source file, you can recreate the PDF.
  2. Contact the Document Owner: If you received the PDF from someone else, we recommend reaching out to the document owner to request a new copy.
