How do I work on pdfs on an original iPad Air 1st generation?

Hi all,

Is there a way I can work on pdfs on my new-to-me iPad? Looks like all the new programs need higher than 12.5 OS and that's all I've got. Is there a spot for oldedr versions of Acrobat?

Thank you for any help you can give in this matter. This is a simple working iPad for a specific function and i really only need to work on pdfs. (A wish list item would be indesign as well however I dont' really need that. The main problem is what to do to work with pdfs.)

Darlene

Acrobat Reader for Mobile has only 1 version available. And it requires iPadOS 13.3 or later.

Maybe the Apple Store has another PDF app you can use instead.

I read that Apple Books can read and work on pdfs to some degree and I only need to make updated notes on preexisting pdfs for work so I think I am fine now. thank you.
