Hope you are doing well.

As you have mentioned that you tried to open a PDF but it is asking for a verification password. Could you share the screenshot of the exact pop-up that prompts for a password?

There is a possibility that the original creator of the PDF has put password protection to it. If this is the case then you cannot access the PDF without putting in the correct password. Kindly ask the creator to provide the password.
