How to delete written comments with Apple Pencil w/o having to use typing feature?

Hello, 

I am using Adobe Acrobat to read PDFs, and I really like the feature that translates my written notes to a typed text in a comment box attached to my markings (highlights, underlines, etc...). However, I can't seem to be able to delete anything with my Apple Pencil. When I switch to my eraser, the comment box closes, and I have been forced to use the touch typing feature. 

Is there any way to solve this issue? If not, Adobe, please make your Acrobat app more compatible and intuitive with the Apple Pencil.
