I can`t open file .pdf with sertificat security

Hello,

I received pdf file with protection

Protection is made with use sertificate (.pfx)

Sertificate was successfully installed on my Android.

But Adobe Reader give me warnings "Error. Document is contained function, which not supported on this version"

How I can open it?

Hi Gorlanovmax,

You need the desktop version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in order to open this PDF.

As you have mentioned above, the PDF is secured with the certificate.

It seems that the PDF file is Reader specific version and it is not compatible with the mobile application.

Try once to open the PDF on your desktop application and let us know if you still experience the issue.

The password that I registered my email with doesn't want to open the file

Hi there,

Adobe does not store or retain passwords used to secure PDF files, so we’re unable to recover forgotten “open” passwords. If you can’t remember the password, please either recreate the PDF from the original source file or ask the person who sent it to share an unprotected version.
