I have Acrobat Premium and I cannot combine files- error message is Cannot convert files

Question

I need actual help. I have the Premium subscription and have tried to combine 4 pdf files and keep getting the same error "Cannot convert files". I've used this tool many times before and this is the first time I've had a problem. I need this issue resolved so I can send my combine file asap.

I ran into the same issue, and I believe I found the cause

I selected the first image and chose "Combine Files".

I selected the files and kept getting the error. Then I realized that the software was allowing me to select the original image a second time.
I went back and selected again, being careful not to select the original file a second time. This resolved the error and the combine function worked properly.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

Are the files you try to combine saved on different locations, like a few in internal storage and others on external cloud drives? This could result in such error messages.

Would you mind trying to combine the file after moving them to a single location like your internal storage or the Acrobat Cloud Storage and then check if it works?
