Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. What is the version of the Acrobat mobile app and the OS you are using?

Do you get any error message while trying to edit the PDF? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for more clarity.

Also, a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful for further troubleshooting.
